Magical Egypt with Sedona Chamber of Commerce

Egypt has long held a fascination for travelers, and has been a tourist destination for a couple of thousand years. Roman statesman Marc Antony was drawn there by Cleopatra, Napoleon campaigned there during the late nineteenth century, and now modern tourists find themselves traveling there to see some of the greatest human monuments in the pyramids, the Sphinx, innumerable temples, as well as the life giving Nile River.
Now you can travel there with the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and hosts Andrea and Gary Smith of Andrea Smith Gallery of Sedona. The Smith's have been escorting groups to Egypt since 1994. February 5 - 11, 2011 marks the dates of travel for a group of 15 or more. For those intent on capturing the deepest experience that Egypt can offer, there is an additional tour from February 11 - 15 that offers a luxury cruise on the Nile River to visit Aswan [Nubia], Thebes[Luxor], the Valley of Kings, and Karnak, the largest temple complex in Egypt. Given the small size of the groups assembling for this trip, you will experience Egyptian culture and history as larger groups can never do.

Your fourth Day in-country brings a tour of Old Cairo's Islamic, Jewish and Christian neighborhoods, followed on Day Five with a sunrise visit to the Giza plateau to see the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. A visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar on Day Six is next and departure to home is on Day Seven .

All of the tipping for your Cairo journey is taken care of. You do not have to tip your guide, or driver, nor do you have to tip for luggage handling.
If you want to get an even greater appreciation for the country and its past, you can extend your tour beyond the original dates to experience a Nile Cruise offered from February 11 to 15, 2011.
