Never Too Late Special Request
Bob Haverstick spoke to a group of senior citizens last week and asked if any of them had some unfulfilled dreams. Ms. Becky Burhenn, age 69--will be 70 on July 4th, tearfully told him that her older sister Faith had passed away in February, and that her nieces and their families were flying to Sedona on June 29 for a Celebration of Life ceremony for Faith at "Faith's Leap."
When Faith's children made their room reservations in April, Becky didn't ask to make the trip with them because she lives on a very limited income. When she heard about Never Too Late, and their mission to make some magic happen for the forgotten elderly, she hoped that she might be able to go to Arizona after all to pay her final respects to her sister Faith, who loved Sedona and the surrounding area.
Never Too Late found a donor to cover the cost of the flight to Phoenix and back to Indianapolis and is now requesting your help to provide a complimentary room in Sedona for Becky Burhenn on the nights of June 29, June 30, and July 1. She would fly back to Indiana on July 2.
To partner with Never Too Late and make Becky's wish come true please contact Karen at Karen@sedonacamber.com . For more information about the Never Too Late organization please visit www.nevertoolate.org.

Paving and curb and gutter work has began on SR 179 at Ridge Trail and Back O'Beyond intersections, with Jacks Canyon to follow. Re-striping and traffic shifts for the next construction phase will be coming soon at these intersections. The construction of roundabouts is done in five steps:
1. Curb and gutter is laid on one side
2. Paving is done on one side
3. and 4.Traffic is shifted and these two steps are repeated on the other side.
5. The medians and inner circles are installed and paved.
The HT Trail closure will be extended to mid-summer. Information will be provided as it becomes available.
Ongoing Work on SR 179
